Mapa Villa de leyva

Located in Colombia at a distance of 115 miles from the capital of Bogotá, lies Villa de Leyva, founded by the Spaniards in 1572 in the Saquenzipa valley. This small town was the cult center for the Chibcha tribes for their sun and moon gods. Later the region became the settlement cradle of the Spanish conquistadors.
